Liam Fitzgerald. Mr Fitzgerald has been in business in the Fermoy area for the last forty-two years. Liam is a well-respected member of the local community and has always insisted on family values within the Nursing Home environment. He strongly believes that this facilitates the fostering of long term relationships with residents, representatives, staff and suppliers. Conscious of our resident’s requirements for quality and consistency at all times Liam feels that prioritising care and meeting the needs of our residents is of the utmost importance.

Gerry Condon has been the General Manager of Amberley Home since it opened in January 2005. He is dedicated to the staff and residents and is always there when Amberley need him. He is very involved in day to day running of the home although very much on the background.

I qualified as an RGN, specialized in elderly care and management. I would stress the one ‘qualification’ any person needs to work in care of the elderly is the natural ability to work with your heart.  It’s all about caring.  It’s about appreciating that you are a huge part of each residents’ day and a huge part of their life. Amberley is a place of excellent care and great team work. “My role as Director of Care is to ensure a high standard of quality care is provided to all residents in the nursing home.
